Wine lovers are warmly invited to the tasting of New Wines 2026, held in the historic premises of the Historic Town Hall of Lučenec – the Municipal Museum of Lučenec. Winemakers from the Veľký Krtíš Wine Route association will present new vintages that can be tasted even before their official release to the market. Look forward to a unique atmosphere filled with the aromas and flavours of the region, a selection of white, rosé, red and blackcurrant wines, and the discovery of wine stories hidden in every glass. Even the same grape varieties can taste different – and that is where the magic of wine lies. The tasting will be complemented by a musical programme.

The travelling wine tasting Nevinne o víne returns to bring a unique wine experience to the town of Levice. On Friday, 23 Jan, the premises of Hotel Lev will be transformed into a stage showcasing top winemakers and their finest creations. Embark on a journey of discovering quality. An evening awaits where every glass reveals a new story and character. You will personally meet the creators behind each bottle. As the highlight of the evening, you will be able to taste the champions and medal winners from the 11th edition of the prestigious international competition Danube Wine Challenge. The earlier you purchase your tickets, the better the price. Advance tickets range from €18 to €22, with prices increasing gradually. Tickets at the venue will cost €25. The price always includes unlimited tasting and a €5 voucher for wine purchases.
