The Christmas Market is a traditional festive event that transforms the town into a winter fairytale full of lights, aromas, and seasonal charm. The market features stalls offering Christmas decorations, handmade gifts, and classic Slovak holiday treats such as chimney cakes, mulled wine, and honey cookies. Live music, children’s attractions, and various family-friendly activities create a magical atmosphere for all to enjoy. It's the perfect opportunity to shop for Christmas gifts and soak in the holiday spirit. The event takes place on Letná Street with stalls and refreshments.

Golden Advent Sunday in Bojnice

The magical pre-Christmas atmosphere from the era of Count Ján Pálffy returns to Bojnice. The Nutcracker, a horse-drawn carriage, carols, Christmas elves, and the mayor’s punch will all be part of the celebration! Visitors can also enjoy a small Christmas market and a live Nativity scene in the courtyard of the Bojnice Municipal Library. Free admission.
