Enjoy an experiential ride tracing the footsteps of our ancestors' traditional sheep farming and agriculture every Tuesday during the summer holidays from 1 July to 26 August 2025, between 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM. The route of the "Zbojnícka strela" (Highwayman's Arrow) goes from Brezno through Salaš Zbojská to Sedlo Chlipavice and back to Brezno via Čierny Balog. Trip price: €15 per adult, €10 per child aged 3 to 15, free for children under 3. Payment is possible in cash only on-site. Capacity is limited to 32 participants. The minimum number of participants for the ride to take place is 10.

The Bojnice Cultural Centre presents the programme of this year's Saffron Summer in Bojnice. A Fairytale Tourbus Journey Through the Corners of Lower Horehronie

Hop on the Fairytale Tourbus from the town of Brezno to the subdestination of Lower Horehronie every Wednesday during the summer holidays, from 2 July to 27 August 2025, from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, departing from the Town Tower of Brezno with the Information Center in the belfry. The fairytale journey route includes: the Vampire Escape Room, Samo Chalupka Memorial Room, Water Mill with canal in Predajná, Fairytale World in Nemecká, and the “Nostalgia” exhibition in Brezno. Trip price: €18 per adult, €12 per child aged 3 to 15. The price includes a round-trip tourbus ride and guided entry to each exhibition. Payment is possible in cash only on site. The Tale of the Enchanted Well at Bojnice Castle

Human weaknesses and flaws are natural. But it is right to strive to change and overcome them. Our fairytale tells the story of a prince who, due to his laziness, greed, and arrogance, allowed a curse to fall upon his kingdom. How he managed to redeem himself and, with the help of kindness in people’s hearts and a magical well, break the cruel curse—you'll see in this children's theatrical tour during July and August at Bojnice Castle, titled “The Tale of the Enchanted Well.” This fairytale experience combines video projection with a guided performance and takes place in the castle’s apartment rooms (outside the regular tour route). It is suitable for children aged 4 to 10.

The tour runs from Wednesday to Sunday at: 9:15, 10:15, 11:15, 13:15, 14:15, and 15:15.

Tourbus to Sysľovisko and Obrovisko

Tematín Castle Festivities

A charity event to help save the castle. The year is 1380 and a horde of heavily armed cutthroats is marching towards Tematín Castle. A group of defenders has gathered at the main gate to negotiate, while the rest aim their loaded weapons at targets through the arrow slits in the walls.
