European Wrestling Championships - Bratislava

Bratislava will become a place of thrilling battles this year, as it will host the European Wrestling Championships from April 7 to April 13, 2025. This event will welcome the best wrestlers from across the continent, who will compete for the title of European champion.
After more than 20 years, the complete European wrestling elite will be showcased in Bratislava, including the elite Slovak freestyle wrestler and four-time European champion Tajmuraz Salkazanov. The competition will feature freestyle, Greco-Roman, and women's wrestling, with more than a thousand participants expected from at least 30 European countries. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to witness the European wrestling elite in action right in the capital of Slovakia.
Billie Jean King Cup: Slovakia vs. USA and Denmark

In April 2025, Bratislava will host the Billie Jean King Cup qualifying group C, where Slovak tennis players will face Denmark and the USA. The matches will be played at the National Tennis Center (NTC) in Bratislava.
Match schedule:
- Friday, April 11 at 3:00 PM: Slovakia - Denmark
- Saturday, April 12 at 3:00 PM: USA - Denmark
- Sunday, April 13 at 3:00 PM: Slovakia - USA
This tournament is part of the qualifying groups, the winners of which will advance to the November final tournament in Shenzhen. The host country China and the defending champions Italy are already participating. The Slovaks have a favorable record against the USA, having defeated them in 2021 and 2022. They have not yet met the Danes.
