The event “Welcoming Spring at the Castle – COME TO THE CASTLE IN FOLK COSTUME” has become a beloved Easter tradition in Trenčín. Children can look forward to the Easter Egg Hunt, a fun adventure throughout the castle where they’ll collect clues and be rewarded with a sweet treat at the end. On Easter Sunday, Trenčín Castle will open its gates free of charge to all visitors who arrive dressed in traditional Slovak folk costume, known as kroj. The annual folklore gathering “Come to the Castle in Folk Costume!” continues to draw enthusiastic crowds year after year.
