There will be Christmas customs, carols, folk music and traditional Orava songs and dances. To warm you up, there will be hot chocolate and honey wine, a Slovak speciality.

These special Christmas themed evening tours are available December 28th to 31st with beginnings at 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. and from January 2nd to 3rd starting at 4:30 p.m.

Winter evening tours, especially those Christmas ones, are very popular in Orava Village Open Air Museum every year. An evening tour with lanterns, humorous and serious accompanying lyrics, melodies and songs played by a brass band continues with the performance of folk music songs and dances from the Orava region. During the evening, visitors are invited to participate in simple dances and songs while mead is served to adults and hot chocolate or tea to children.
