The fifth year of the unique Dragon Nights takes place at the foot of Mt. Chopok again the second Saturday of August. Enjoy adventurous cableway transport with your family from the northern and southern side of Mt. Chopok at night. Follow the story of our friend, Demian the Dragon in its Rotunda castle, choose from attractive activities for all age groups and feast your eyes on a beautiful evening mountain panorama.
Busy bees are this year's main topic of the event. Kids will learn everything about beekeeping, how honey is made and beehives are taken care of, about various kinds of honey as well as healing herbs – all in an amusing way with tasks, competitions and creative workshops at Rotunda Restaurant overlooking the surroundings. Delicious honey specialities will be served for all gourmets in the panoramic restaurant.
Once all tasks about the bees are completed, the Dragon Night fans can watch an original theatre performance – a Dragon Story of the so called Theatre company. The plot is set under Mt. Chopok, on the terrace of the Rotunda restaurant, at the sculpture of Demian the Dragon, which will be spitting fire and smoke all evening long. Don't miss the unique experience!
