Folklore festival celebrating the abundance will welcome you with its great family-like atmosphere. You will be able to enjoy outstanding folklore music and see traditional craftsmen at work showing their artistry in pottery, weaving, bobbin lace work, jewel-making or woodcrafting.

You can taste special traditional meals, so prepare your taste buds for home-made bread baked in stone oven, regional flat bread with or without various fillings or garlic, yeast cakes, crackling scones, salty potato pancakes, jam buns, small potato dumplings or pasta-like meal of flour called párance. You can also try venison goulash soup, home-made grilled sausages, roasted pork or traditional tasty home-made fruit brandy. Are you ready now to make a trip?

Annually, Days of Abundance under the majestic Sitno take place in summer and connect several villages in the microregion of Southern Sitno. The Prenčov turn is the second Saturday of August. During the festival, each village organises various activities based on presentation of traditional cultural elements, mainly related to family or calendar riruals, traditional occupations and crafts or agriculture, all in full harmony with local environment. Themes may vary from year to year.
