Description of the route: Interesting moderately demanding trip void of any abrupt ascents. Only the short and steep ascent up the field road from Vyšná Slaná do the saddle Široké pole is an exception. Beware of traffic on a comparatively busy stretch of the state road between Rožňava and Vlachovo. The route coincides with the Gothic Route where you can contemplate valuable historic monuments including the manor of noble family Andrássy in Betliar with a big park and the Evangelical church in Gemerská Poloma with its belfry. The route continues around the dominant mountain Veľký Radzim and through Koceľovce (Evangelical church with numerous wall paintings) and Štítnik (Gothic Evangelical church).
