A new product for tourists – the Barborská cesta educational route, will be inaugurated on May 1, 2015, at the Nanebovzatie Panny Márie (Assumption of Virgin Mary) church in Banská Bystrica.

The "Barborská cesta" educational route connects in a circle approximately 188 km long, all the most important values of mining, historical and cultural heritage and also unique natural beauties of Central Slovakia, from Banská Bystrica, through the Špania Dolina valley, Staré Hory, Krahule, Kremnica, Sklené Teplice, Banská Štiavnica, Zvolen and back to Banská Bystrica. It is destined for hiking and cyclotourism, you should also be able to walk it within nine days. It offers "green tourism", in the form in which it is now present in Europe and in the world and is increasingly sought-after because of the authenticity of the experience.
