The first mention of the spa comes from 13th century. Bardejov spa is one of the oldest and 2nd biggest spa in Slovakia. Bardejov Spa is in the north-east of Slovakia and is surrounded by a beautiful nature. You will find forests on each side and that makes it a wonderful place to relax. The capacity of the spa is 1120 beds from 2** up to 4**** hotels and villas around the area.
The real treasure of the spa is the natural healing mineral water and only sheltered colonnade in Slovakia with 8 different springs for different diseases.
The unique mineral springs are used for drinking, bathing and inhalation. Bardejov spa offers the possibility to treat these illnesses: diseases of the digestive tract including liver, blood circulation problems, metabolic disorders, non-specific diseases of respiratory system, female disorders, locomotor disorders, renal and urinary tract disorders, oncological problems, diabetes mellitus and other so-called modern diseases.
Spa offers every-day services, there is a post office, cinema, church, restaurants, cafes and all necessary kinds of shops.
REGIONAL TOURISM ORGANIZATION "ŠARIŠ" – BARDEJOV is an organization of destination management, realizes joint marketing of Šariš region.
OOCR „ŠARIŠ“ - BARDEJOV was founded in November 2012. Its main task is to make the region more attractive for tourists, to improve its offer and tourism infrastructure, to present, habits, leisure, sports, education or relaxation.
The main tasks of the regional organization include: to create and implement marketing and promotion strategies for its members at home and abroad, to support and create conditions for the development of tourism in the territory of the Šariš-Bardejov, support for building new tourism products.
