Description of the route: Moderately demanding trip (because of its length) with a minimum elevation difference. As it mostly avoids the public roads, it is suitable for family trips. It, however, also contains some comparatively dull parts.
It is part of the International Danube Cycling Route and connects Bratislava with the weir in Hrušovo and the Water Works of Gabčíkovo. The greatest attraction is doubtless the dam in Gabčíkovo with its navigation chambers where the boats overcome the altitude difference of more than 20 m.
