One of Slovakia's oldest fairs, “St. Simon the Zealot and St. Jude the Apostle Fair” or “Štúrovo Fair”, will take place from October 10th to 13th, 2019 in Štúrovo. When speaking about this fair, good food, drinks and anything that makes a good atmosphere cannot be omitted.
It is the biggest fair in the modern history of the Danubeland Region, attended by vendors, entertainers, and visitors from both banks of the Danube.You’ll see artisans presenting their wares throughout the city centre's pedestrian zone, and be sure to enjoy the merry-go-rounds and other attractions at Vadaš. It goes without saying that a traditional fair such as this one also offers great food and drinks that will leave all visitors happy and smiling.
Annual Fair in Štúrovo is the biggest one in the new history of the region of Podunajsko. Stall-holders, entertainers and visitors come from both banks of the river Danube to take part in it. There is a lot of entertainment including cultural events, comedians, shooting galleries and merry-go-rounds which tempt the visitors, buyers or lookers.
