It has holiday homes, quality hotels with beautiful views, wonderful spa treatments, great skiing, and plenty of socializing. The PARK SNOW Donovaly ski resort is located on the border of the Low Tatras and the Veľká Fatra National Parks. Ski down the snow-covered meadows and pastures of Záhradište and steeper slopes from the top station on Nová Hoľa at an altitude of 1361 metres. Park Snow Donovaly is famous for its professionally built and maintained obstacle course – but its real European rarity is the huge children’s area. The entire resort offers eleven kilometres of slopes – and even more cross-country skiing trails – that are accessible until 9 p.m. The ski season here lasts until the beginning of April.

Learning to ski in one of the largest fun parks in Europe is terrific fun. Children can enjoy nine magic carpets, many games and adventures, and an unforgettable ride on a snow train.

The professional groomers will perfectly maintain the park for you every morning. Enjoy your ride even more during the day with music from the relaxation area. The obstacles are arranged from the easiest to the hardest at the bottom of the park. There’s something for everyone.

On the white trail or skimo
The popular (and easiest) cross-country ski trails start in the centre of the village. If you complete them all, you will have managed to cover almost 25 kilometres. Donovaly also offers three marked skimo trails, ranging from two to four kilometres in length and with an average elevation of 400 metres. Well-equipped rental shops can provide you with what you need.

After you take off your skis, get ready to sledge or fly!
Enjoy the winter in Donovaly from the comfort of a dog- or horse-drawn sledge. There is also an ice rink with skate rental available and the perfect adrenaline rush of tandem speed-flying!
