Slovak National Museum - Music Museum in collaboration with Slovak Post, Pofis and Postal Bank have prepared an exhibition about the beautiful folk musical instrument - the bagpipes.

As a unique archaic musical instrument, bagpipes have an important position among musical instruments in terms of their origin, extension and function. They are unique for their impressive acoustic particularities conditioned by the specifics of interpretation and special timbre of sound that is consciously used by the players.

The exhibition will be open to the public from 23rd May 2014 and will last until April 2015.
