On 30th January 2016 in Hriňová is the Winter wagoner’s cart-horse competition (13th year).

Wagoners from Slovakia will compete in three disciplines – timed slalom, power competition in a couple, and power competition in one unit. After counting points in all disciplines, the best wagoner will win ‘The best wagoner of the day’ and a Hriňová fujara flute from the mayor of the town, Stanislav Horník. Everybody is warmly welcome to come and see this show of strength and the majesty of our forest helpers! Visitors can also enjoy fresh home-made pig slaughter products.
