The Vihorlat Museum was established in 1960 and has been located in a 17th century Renaissance manor house since 1969. The manor house built at the turn of the 17th century was connected with the House of Drugeth and it currently houses museum’s historical and ethnographic collections.
The Art and History Exhibition was established in 1971 and presents aristocratic dwelling culture from the Renaissance up to the 20th century.
The Natural History Exhibition located in manor house’s northern wing focuses on natural conditions of the Humenné district.
The Gallery Section has been dedicated to exhibition, cultural, educational and publication activities right from its beginnings in 1989. Exhibitions of both local and foreign artists are organised, while its file gathers information on life and work of regional artists.
In the adjoining park, the Folk Architecture and Dwelling Exhibition is located.
