As a regional institution for non-professional culture and public education, The Central Slovakia Cultural Centre in Banská Bystrica will once again welcome singing groups of folk bands as well as solists from Central Slovakia at the annual concert dedicated to folk songs.
Focused mainly on Horehronie cultural and historical region, the programme celebrates the artistry of singers and musicians presenting the invaluable riches of folk music.
This year, performers like Marína Female Singers Group from Zvolen, Čierťaž Folklore Group from Nemecká, Kýčera Folklore Group from Čierny Balog, The Kalman Family from Horehronie, Miro Kapec Folk Band, Andrea Jágerová, Jožko Pančík, Martin Lokša or Martin Kalman will take part.
