Small Carpathian Museum Pezinok

Permanent expositions: History of the town of Pezinok from its first written reference through the feudal municipal justice, guilds, handicraft up to ethnology and History of viticulture and winery under the Small Carpathians.

The museum offers its visitors a tour of the cellar exposition with the biggest collection of wine-press machines in Central Europe, occasional exhibitions on various topics, creative workshops for schools and tasting of wines of the Small Carpathian region in its unique premises.

It is the organizer of events such as "Sviatok sv. Urbana" (St. Urban`s Day), an international chess tournament "Richard Réti", Ceramics Fair and is one of the stop points on the Deň otvorených pivníc (Open Wine-cellars Day) of the Malokarpatská vínna cesta association. Along with the Museum Vinorum unincorporated association it is an organizer of the Pezinské vínne pivnice event. In addition, the museum occasionally prepares exhibitions abroad (e.g. the exhibition "Vineyards, wine, people" was presented in the European Parliament in Strasbourg in September 2005, later on also in Vienna and in Milotice, the Czech Republic).

As regards the personnel, the institution has experts and technical personnel, and, what is more, also its own sommelier.
