Slovak National Gallery Will Again Be Free

The Slovak National Gallery (Slovenská národná galéria) continues in the year 2015 with free admissions to their exposure to the exhibitions in Bratislava and Pezinok.

During 2015, it will offer trough the Sentiment / Biedermeiersk , the “period of peace” exposition, – the period of biedermeier and an insight into popular genres, but also the lifestyle of the first half of the 19th century. The curator Petra Hanáková is preparing the exposition Tekutá múza – alkohol a vizuálna kultúra (Liquid Muse – Alcohol and Visual Culture). Within the program of monographic expositions of living young artists, Martin Kollár, the globally established photographer, will be presented. At Zvolenský zámok (Zvolen Castle) within the Open Depository (Otvorený depozitár) conceived by Dušan Buran, spectators will consequently see gothic and baroque art and modern Slovak sculpture.
