Slovak hotels score points among foreign guests

Slovak hotels have achieved another success. According to the global Hotel.Info portal, it’s Slovak hotels that tourists in Europe are most satisfied with.

In the current ranking of European cities, Bratislava is ranked second just behind Warsaw. And it’s not the first success Slovak accommodation facilities have garnered.

Even last year, Wall Street Journal ranked Bratislava hotels in the “TOP 5 of the Cleanest Hotels in the World” category. This placement clearly indicates the rising quality of services in Slovakia.

The survey was conducted by the Hotel.Info booking portal on its website, where guests rated hotels between 0-10 points after their stay. The criteria were room quality, staff friendliness, cleanliness, noise, price/value ratio of the accommodation, gym or spa, breakfast and gastronomy.

One of the most well-known global portals, Hotel.Info had more than 6,000,000 reviews submitted. The results were rounded to two decimal places, with Slovakia landing on top of the rankings with a score of 8.22 points. Poland came in second with 8.19, and Bulgaria was third with 8.08.

In the ranking of European cities, the Slovak capital also scored well. With a score of 8.23, Bratislava came in second right behind Warsaw, which reached only a slightly-higher score of 8.37 points. This number is also the highest score ever achieved in the survey.
