Description of the route: The route communicates two important tourist resorts in hinterlands of the Vysoké Tatry Mts. - Liptovský Hrádok and Kežmarok. It partially runs through the basins Liptovská and Popradská and partially along the foothills of the Tatras following the main tourist road Cesta slobody (The Road of Liberty). It contains one abrupt ascent and it is passable by road bicycles.  
It connects all holiday centres of the Tatras situated below its peaks. The most interesting are the mountain centres Štrbské pleso (the highest situated commune in Slovakia), Starý Smokovec (administrative centre of the mountain range) and Tatranská Lomnica (the starting point for trips in the easternmost part of the High Tatras)
