New Bratislava City Card for tourists

On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Bratislava City Card, the Bratislava Tourist Board (BTB) has introduced a renewed card for tourists.

The Bratislava City Card, featuring a new and attractive design, is the best way to discover Bratislava while saving time and money.

The card also offers free transport and city tours, as well as over 100 discounts of up to 50% on many products and services.

Tourists can also use the card as a guide for what to see and visit in the capital and throughout the larger Bratislava Region.

Bratislava City Card holders can use the public transport system in Bratislava for free, within the validity period of the card of course.

The Bratislava City Card replaces the 24, 48 or 72-hour tickets for public transport and is valid from the day and hour that the card is purchased.

Cardholders can use the city’s night public transport lines and luggage transport options for free. If you come across a ticket inspector, simply present your ID and valid Bratislava City Card to show them the date and time of purchasing and your name as cardholder.

Tourists who buy the Bratislava City Card can use it to travel from the airport or the train stations directly to the city centre, the zoo, or the Devín castle without having to buy another ticket.

The card can be obtained at BTB tourist information centres, at the front desks of partner hotels, at the customer centres of the state railway company Železničná spoločnosť Slovensko a. s. in Bratislava, at the Twin City Liner pier and from many other project partners.

Besides transport benefits, every cardholder is entitled to a free walking tour of the city and other discounts not just in Bratislava, but also in the Small Carpathians region, Trnava, Skalica, Lower Austria and Burgenland.
