Description of the route: The undemanding route of the instructive path crosses the south-eastern part of the Košice plain with the mountain range Milič situated in the southern part of the Slanské vrchy Mts. The instructive path concentrates on natural history, archaeology, cultural and historic monuments. Meanders of the Hornád in various stages of development, the local flora and fauna, archaeological finds, remains of the medieval castle, Jewish cemetery and a monastery are among the most interesting landmarks of this route. The route is 22 km long and has eleven stops with information panels. The route is marked in yellow hiking marks and as far as orientation is concerned it is easy. South of Trstené the route passes near the state frontier with Hungary.
