You can travel from Prague to the north of Slovakia and Košice by train using the services of three rail companies. The fastest, Pendolino, manages the route from Prague to Košice in 7 and a half hours.
Pendolino allows Prague citizens to arrive in Liptov and the Tatras by noon. The EC from RegioJet has more stops and prices from €9. LEO Express offers travel from Prague in the late afternoon hours and overnight from Košice. You can also select one of two night connections, EN Slovakia and R.
