. There will be folk music and traditional Orava
songs and dances. To warm you up, there will be hot chocolate and honey wine, a Slovak speciality.
These special evening tours are available December 29th to 31st and January 3rd with beginnings at 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. and in January 4th and 5th starting at 4:30 p.m.
Winter evening tours are very popular in Orava Village Open Air Museum every year. An evening tour with lanterns, humorous and serious accompanying lyrics, melodies and songs played by a brass band continues with the performance of folk music songs and dances from the Orava region. During the evening, visitors are invited to participate in simple dances and songs while mead is served to adults and hot chocolate and tea to children.
