Do not miss the opportunity to take part at the 27th Festival of European Folk Craft in Kežmarok, the first and the largest festival of its kind in Europe, which traditionally takes place the second weekend of July. This year, the Festival is dedicated to the guild of weavers.

Festival for all lovers of history, culture, crafts and folk traditions as well as enthusiasts of summer festivals will be held July 7th - 9th, 2017 in historic town underneath the High Tatras Mountain Range, the town, which in 2009 year celebrated 740th anniversary of receiving its township rights.

Plentiful three day programme in the historic centre of Kežmarok and its castle has customary become a meeting opportunity not only for craftsmen, fencers, domestic and foreign folk groups, but also for actors, lovers of classical and pop music, hawkers, special guests as well as people living locally or further away, those coming to the festival every year or those coming for the first time.

Their aim is to find in one place what both present and past generations can be proud of or what is today just a memory of former glory of the ancestors.
