The festival of historical fencing, music and crafts will take place this year in Devín castle from August 30th to 31st 2014.
Music, dance and fencing groups will be performing and you will also be able to see authentic camps where you can discover how people used to live, cook and work in ancient times. Artillery, horsemanship and falconry performances will also be part of the event. You can try to prepare food in a medieval manner or shoot using period weapons under the supervision of instructors.The straw castle, fighting area with soft swords, face-painting and a children's zone with activities will delight the youngest visitors. At the historical fair, you can buy products from skilful blacksmiths, tinkers and basket-makers or taste period specialities.
