Description of the route: The route begins in the centre of the lower Liptov - in the historical town Ružomberok, from where it proceeds along a cycling path that is parallel with the main road E77 and the Revúca river to Liptovská Osada where you turn to a local road to Liptovská Lúžna, intersecting the western part of the Nízke Tatry Mts. with the view of their main mountain crest. While still climbing, you go by a natural monument Meandre Lúžňanky to the Prievalec sag, which is the highest point of the route. You go down by a steep slope, pass the Železnô children sanatorium and continue through the Ľupčianska dolina valley to Partizánska Ľupča. By a busy road, you get to Bešeňová where you can relax in the Bešeňová Thermal Park. After a short rest, you return to Ružomberok by a local road parallel with the railway and you get to see natural monuments Liskovská jaskyňa cave and Skalná päsť (Iron fist). The route is also suitable for road bikes. There is only one steep climb; the rest of the route includes just moderate climbing or descending.
