Fantastic 150th anniversary is celebrated in 2018 at Orava Museum. On this accasion, an exhibition will be opened in the Florin's House in Dolný Kubín for visitors of the historical Orava region.

One of Slovakia's oldest museums was founded in 1868 at Orava Castle by Count Edmund Zichy, the director of then Orava compossessorate. Annualy, there are over 268 thousands people visiting all 9 expositions of the museum.

To commemorate, the exhibition shows all important in current Orava Museum premises and its expositions. It presents the history, creation and growth. A rich editorial work, presentations of collections and information about regular events organised by the museum are also a part of the exhibition.

Exhibition will be opened on Monday, April 16th, 2018 at 3 p.m. and will last until Sunday, September 30th, 2018 in the Florin's House of the Orava Museum in Dolný Kubín.
